Dear Teachers,
I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Teachers’ Day today!
As India celebrates 75 years of Independence, have we as educationists sat down and given a thought on how important our role has been and how much more it can now be to create an independent and liberated mindset in the citizens of tomorrow? Free from the shackles of unscientific thoughts, beliefs and blind pursuits of vicarious dreams and expectations?
Are we looking at the multi-dimensional growth of our students? Currently our education system is heavily focused on mostly the Mental aspects. Are we including #Mental #Physical & Emotional #Spiritual & Social aspects in their learning?
Are we truly working hard towards creating a skill based education system where there is a lot more choice for making students independent and capable of creating their own space, working on their passions instead of seeking job opportunities?
The NEP has laid out the path. It is us who now need to change our routes. Our students are eagerly awaiting the changes and innovations that the books and leaders are talking about. WE need to bring them into practice.
YOU are the front runner in this, it is YOU who will make this happen. India awaits the transformation that Teachers can bring inside the classroom.
