Earth Hour
For the fourteenth consecutive year, Delhi Public School-Bopal participated in Earth Hour on 25 March 2023 in an effort to address the climate changes faced by our planet. The Green Warriors Committee of the school organized a campaign by asking everyone to turn off all the lights that were not necessary from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Students turned off the lights and participated in a variety of activities, such as playing with their siblings, playing indoor games, having candlelight dinners, and utilizing candles and diyas instead of light bulbs that consume electricity. Parents enthusiastically supported the initiative by sharing the message and spending time in accordance with nature.
Education is not just about good academics, it's also about inculcating valuable life skills among students, observing Earth Hour makes them care for nature.
