This picture led me to many thoughts and two pertinent questions.
- Could a sapling be strong enough to shake or break the ground beneath?
- Can concrete be broken by soft roots?
Yes, if the core is strong. This is a great example to suggest that a strong core and deep roots cannot shake you or break you. Instead, what appears strong on the surface, may not be so within. But strong within is strong nonetheless.
