Wall Painting @ DPS-Bopal with ‘Sustainable Development Goals’
A wall painting activity was organized by the Delhi Public School- Bopal Fine Arts Club. 27 students of classes XII and XI took part in this activity in which they painted the icons of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals on the school amphitheatre wall.
All United Nations Member States adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 to build more fair, more peaceful, and prosperous societies by 2030. This activity has been taken up to raise awareness and visual reinforcement of the Goals among all the stakeholders. Introducing young minds to SDGs acts like a tool to prepare them to face real-world problems and help promote living a sustainable life.
The students painted the wall with zeal and enthusiasm. Learning through such activities helps students act, in their daily lives, make responsible choices, and lay the foundation for their future.
